1997 is a rather nice set from Topps.. If I wasn't trying to refocus my collecting goals, I'd probably want to collect that set.
Henry Mateo is one of those "Who?" guys represented here, I think. He played 190 games in 6 years with the Expos and the NotTheSpos.
I get a kick of seeing pitchers batting on cards..
Hopefully card #466 will become a hall of fame rookie card in the very near future.
ReplyDeleteI vaguely recall Henry Mateo but I've never seen the 2002 Fleer Tradition set before. Gary Lucas isn't ringing a bell; I thought he pitched for the Reds but I guess I'm thinking of someone else. This is why I enjoy seeing all these different Expos players and cards. I'm learning a lot from this series.
