End of Year

With tomorrow being New Years Eve and considering the amount of time I've spent on the computer lately (Hint: Almost none) I figured I'd write a quick note tonight while my legs allow me to before they get too sore from being cold.

With tomorrow being the end of the year, naturally we all look back at the events of the year, both good and bad.. This year, I'm sure we all want to forget it existed.

I just want to wish everyone a Happy New Year and that 2021 actually be decent after the dual shitshows that were 2019 and 2020.

Health Update

Well, I just wanted to give a quick update on a few things..

First: My health.

I've been diagnosed with atrial fibrillation and am on medications for it. I'm also on antidepressants as a result of the stress and other issues. My legs are still an issue, draining enough to need dressings changed daily. I'm off work and have been since mid November. I may be off into January.

My legs have been bothering me some days to the point where I was almost in tears due to pain. I haven't been on the computer very often and when I am, it's usually for about 15-20 minutes. Therefore, I haven't been able to keep up on my blog, or much of anything else, really.

Second: Cards

I have received cards from a few people that I'd like to thank. Julie from A Cracked Bat sent me some cards from the Pick Pockets thing she ran after the election.

Chris at The Collector sent me a few cards for Christmas, going into the Expos collection.

I received a Sportlots order I purchased and it fills some holes. 1978 Topps, and 1986 Topps are complete and I'm working on 1983 OPC. I also have some Studio from 1991 and 1992. I also purchased some Canadian player cards, including a reprint Dick Fowler.

I bought a card from First Row Collectibles. A 1992 Nabisco Bill Lee autographed card.

So yeah.. That's what's going on.. Just wanted to let everyone know..

If I don't happen to get on before, Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays, all that jazz..
