Goodies from Windsor

 Hello Friends!

Today I'm going to show a couple things I had sent to me by my cousin who lives in Windsor. Up until the current President, they would go over to Detroit area for different shows and markets and pick up cards for me. I guess they found some on this side of the border, since I got some cards in the last package.

First are Topps Chrome from 2023. I basically have the team set aside from Vlad Jr. I'm not surprised in the slightest..

I both love and hate Chrome cards. There are some good looking cards, and some horrible looking cards. It does seem to me like they figured out the Chrome Bend issue..

The other cards that were sent:
The 2011 Jays Fire Safety

Now, I didn't get the full set. There are 6 cards missing. Unsurprisingly, Bautista is one of them. The two other players missing are Brandon Morrow and John McDonald. I also am missing Don Wakamatsu. The others missing are fire safety cards and a coupon/card for Pizza Pizza's "mascot" Dough Dude.

It's nice to see Ace actually named on a card, rather than "Blue Jays Mascot"

The backs of the cards are rather standard for the style. Player info, little blurb and safety tip

I'm trying to remember all the uniforms Hentgen wore for the Jays. I know he wore the 1992 era unis, which were slight alterations from the original. He was there for my second favourite version of the Jays uni, 1997-2002. And again in 2004 when they started wearing the Angry Bird..

One other baseball related thing my cousin sent me.

A 1995 Montreal Expos Media Guide. I don't think it would shock anyone if I told you it's written in both French and English.

So that's the look at what I received from my cousin.
