Concert Time

 Hello Friends!

I know this is a card blog, but it's also my card blog so if I want to show pictures of the concert I went to yesterday I will. 😉

So, the concert was Weird Al Yankovic in Toronto.

I don't know why but almost every time I'm in T.O, I need to take a picture of the CN Tower. Incidentally, the skies were a little threatening at the time leading to the concert. Some areas were darker.

The concert was at Budweiser Stage, an ampitheatre with a partial canopy for the more expensive seats. One section of other seats open to the skies, and then lawn seating. It was not too bad.

Had to show the tour promo lol

The opening act was Puddles Pity Party. He was ok, but I was bored. Guy's not my thing..

The promo video for the tour.. It was kinda funny. Alzilla!

I don't smile in my pictures as you can see. I was enjoying myself though. I did see a couple people I knew. My former neighbour at my old address was also there, so we met up. My best friend from back home also found me and came to say Hi. That shocked the crap out of me.

Finally the Man, the Myth, the Legend.. The Weird! Al Yankovic.
After performing Tacky on his way into the stage and throwing a pie into Puddles Pity Party's face..
He also came out and said this was the end of his "Grueling Canadian portion" of the tour.. Toronto was the only stop on the tour in Canada.. lol

The first song.. I have no clue what it was but it was different.

A scene from Weird while they were doing a costume change.

Dare to be Stupid!!!!

Smells Like Nirvana!!

Part of the medley of parodies he's done.

Eat It!

Canadian Idiot.

Fat!

Milo Murphy's Law theme.

White and Nerdy!

Word Crimes

Stop Forwarding that Crap to Me

Amish Paradise!

It was an amazing concert. I absolutely enjoyed myself. I admit I was having a lot of anxiety about going. If I was left to going on my own, I wouldn't have ended up going and missed out on borh friends and on an amazing concert.

Also, it did spit a few times. Nothing major. It did start drizzling as I was leaving Budweiser Stage to get back to the GO train to get back to Peterborough.
By time we got home, it was 2:30 am. By time I fell asleep, it was 5am.. I'm tired.. I'm still recovering from overstimulation from the day yesterday and I'm planning on subjecting myself to more overstimulation on Saturday by seeing Steven Page at Del Crary Park in Peterborough as part of Musicfest.
