This morning was a rather bad morning.. I fell in the shower and hurt my neck and shoulders. Headache and upset stomach while driving so it'll be interesting to see how I am tomorrow..
Anyway..
Card 235 is a 1980 Topps Andre Dawson
MISSING: 236
Card 237 is a 1994 Upper Deck Rondell White
Looking like he's ready to rip a double to the gap
Card 238 is a 1992 Donruss Mark Gardner.
Again, the angle of the photo makes it look like he's camoflauged.
MISSING: 239
MISSING: 240

Card 242 is a 1991 Fleer Junior Noboa.

I want to say this looks like Wrigley.
Card 245 is a 1986 Fleer Tim Burke.
Possibly taken at the Vet?
Card 246 is a 1994 Collector's Choice Kirk Reuter
I find it fascinating how some pitchers can generate velocity while looking in pictures as being off balance or awkward.
Obviously, he's balanced.
As a former pitcher myself, I've used a few different windups.
MISSING: 247
Card 248 is a 1989 Donruss Pascual Perez
Card 249 is a 1992 Upper Deck Larry Walker
I love the photo they chose here. Getting ready to catch the ball and it looks like he's prepping to throw into the infield.
Card 250 is a 1991 Fleer Larry Walker.
Yes, two Walkers in a row. No I don't care.
This one looks like a swing and a miss.
Card 251 is a 1991 Donruss Spike Owen.
It is a rather nice photo they chose.
Card 252 is a 1991 Topps Mel Rojas.
Well, another day done. Tomorrow's will be 29 and 30.
I like how the 86F, 91D, and 91T borders pair well with the Expos uniforms.
ReplyDeleteSome of the 91 Score look good too..
DeleteSpike Owen is one of those names that I remember vividly from childhood, but never think of unless someone else mentions them... wonder whatever happened to him?
ReplyDeleteHe was coaching and managing in the minors till 2018.. I don't know what he did last year..
