1992 Score: The Random Rookies

Aside from the First Round Draft Pick cards, there are also Rookie Cards..

With the 1992 set, we know who made it and who didn't.. But it's still fun to see how some of the people who were pictured on the cards ended up doing. 


Bruce Egloff appeared in 6 games in 1991 for the Indians. 
His career in the minors spanned from 1986-1993, with 1988 and 1992 missing.
According to his LinedIn profile, he's working security in the Aurora Public School System.

Don Wakamatsu played 18 games for the Chicago White Sox in 1991. 
Wakamatsu played in the minors from 1985-1996 for seven organizations. 
Last information I can find he is scouting for the Yankees. 


Eric Karros played in 1755 games from 1991-2004 for the Dodgers, Cubs, and Athletics. 
He started in the minors in 1988 and made it to the Majors in 1991. 
He currently works in broadcasting, calling baseball games for Fox and as part of the team in MLB The Show.



Jarvis Brown played in 155 games between 1991-1995 for the Twins, Padres, Braves, and Orioles. 
His professional career spanned from 1986-1998. 
After his career ended, he went into coaching in college. The last information I can find is in 2013, however checking the website, he is no longer there. 

Jeff Plympton appeared in 4 games in 1991 for Boston.
His professional career spanned from 1987-1993, all with the Red Sox organization.
After his baseball career, he has been the Recreation Director in Wrentham, MA and operates an Elite Baseball League travel program. 



John Ramos played in 10 games for the Yankees in 1991. 
His professional career spanned from 1986-1996, playing in the Yankees, Padres, and Blue Jays organizations. 
He is currently coaching for the University of Tampa. 

Kevin Campbell pitched in 77 games from 1991-1995 for the Athletics and Twins.
His professional career spanned from 1986-1995.
I am unsure what he's currently doing, as there are many people with the name Kevin Campbell. 


Laddie Renfroe pitched in 4 games for the Cubs in 1991. 
His professional career spanned from 1984-1992, all spent in the Cubs organization.
He had to retire as a result of an errant baseball hitting him in the head. 
He did some coaching after retirement. 


Monty Fariss played in 104 games from 1991-1993 for Texas and Florida. 
His professional career spanned from 1988-1995, playing for Texas, Florida, Chicago Cubs, and Monterrey. 
I cannot find information on what he currently is doing.


Rico Rossy played in 147 games between 1991-1993 and 1998, playing for the Braves, Royals, and Mariners.
His professional career spanned from 1985-1999, playing in the Orioles, Braves, Pirates, Royals, Padres, Expos, and Mariners systems. 


Stacy Jones pitched in 6 games for the Orioles and White Sox in 1991 and 1996.
His professional career spanned from 1988-1997 and played in the Orioles, Giants, Brewers, and White Sox systems. 
I cannot find current information for him. 

Stan Royer played in 89 games between 1991-1994 for St Louis and Boston.
Royer's career spanned from 1988-1994 for the Athletics, Cardinals, and Red Sox systems. 
He is currently the president of a wealth management company in St Louis. 


Terry McDaniel played 23 games in 1991 for the Mets.
His career spanned from 1986-1996 in the Mets and Reds systems. He also played three years of Independent baseball.

Any information for Terry McDaniel brings up the former NFL player..
