2011-2015 Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame

 Today will be from 2011-2015, tomorrow will be from 2016-2019. 2020's cards didn't get printed due to the COVID-pocalypse. 


2011

He was founder and editor of Baseball America. Yes.. Baseball America was founded in Canada. 

One of only three players to make the Majors from Prince Edward Island. 
Also the first Canadian to hit for the cycle.

2012

This team won Gold at the Pan Am Games. 

Pitched in the minors for the Yankees and Pirates before getting into the front office. 

Has the third longest time in the Majors for a Canadian with 16 years

Le Grand Orange!
He won over the French fans in Montreal by trying to learn French and through his charity work in the city. 

2013


Until Donaldson won the AL MVP, was the only Jay to do so. 
Stolen from the Phillies in the Rule 5 draft

Bought the Vancouver Mounties team in the 1950s
After his passing, Capilano Stadium was renamed Nat Bailey Stadium 

Hit his first MLB homer in the game where the Jays connected for 10 

Franchise leader in stolen bases. 
Was overshadowed at the time by Rickey Henderson

2014

Long time announcer for the Montreal Expos before moving onto the Marlins. 
"El Presidente, El Perfecto!"

Played briefly in the Minors and in the Intercounty Semi-Pro League
Became a scout and brought a number of Canadians to the Jays. 

One of five Canadians to have ever served as a Major League General Manager

2015

Long time writer covering the Expos and the Jays. Also authored three books. 

An oddity... A picture of Delgado where he's not smiling!


Has played the most games for anyone from Manitoba. 

Alou was part of the Expos organization for 27 of the 36 years it existed. 
Player, coach, manager.. 

His career is the longest by any Canadian position player (19 seasons)
One of four Canadians to play for the Expos and Jays.
