1988 CMC Tucson Toros

Today's look is at the Tucson Toros. 
As soon as you see the uniforms, you'll know the Affiliate. 

The 1988 Toros went 68-75 in the PCL South, 18.5 games back of Albuquerque. 

So who made up this team of Toros from Tucson? 

(If it's not obvious, they were an Astros affiliate)

Alex Trevino played from 1973-1995
He played in the Majors for the Mets from 1978-1981, the Reds from 1982-1984, the Braves in 1984, the Giants in 1985, the Dodgers in 1986-1987, the Astros in 1988-1990, the Mets again in 1990, and the Reds again in 1990. 
He played for the Mets (74-81, 90), Reds (82-84, 90), Braves (84), Giants (85), Dodgers (86-87), Astros (88-90), Angels (91), and Cardinals (92) systems. 
He also played in Mexico in 1973, 1991, and 1993. 


Anthony Kelley played from 1983-1990
He never made the Majors.. 
He played for the Astros (83-89) and Orioles (90) systems. He also was on the independent Miami Miracle in 1990. 


Bob Didier was the manager for the team.

He made the Majors for Houston in 1987 and 1988

He never made the Majors.

John Fishel played from 1985-1990
He played in Houston in 1988

Jose Cano played from 1980-1990
He made the Majors for Houston in 1989
Overall, he played for the Yankees (80), Braves (83-84), and Astros (87-90) organizations. 

He's also the father of Robinson Cano.
